Engaging your Audience

You may have learned that social media is useful, but maybe haven't necessarily learned how to use it effectively. Many business owners struggle with ways to connect and engage with their digital audience. Here are some examples of how I keep my client's followers interacting with the brand and maintain a high rank on the algorithm.


First, I define what audience I am targeting. Each business is different therefore, each business attracts different followers. I research relevant and trending hashtags in the industry, specific keywords, and follow certain geographic locations. I am always checking these on a constant basis to build the brand awareness.


Creative content is everything. It's the first impression people will see before they decide to follow your page or not. It's also a direct representation of your brand's image. Therefore, I make sure all of the content I post for my client's accurately represents the brand to attract the right followers.


Writing unique captions may not come naturally to everyone, in fact, sometimes it takes awhile before I decide on a caption for my client's post. These are important to gain likes and comments on your posts. Some businesses will have an informative voice and some will be more humorous. Get creative with these, as a lot of people tend to interact with a post that speaks to them!


Lastly, respond to your audience! This is so important! Never leave a question unanswered and never leave a customer in the dark. This also gives the company an opportunity to directly engage with a customer. People will trust a company more when they have a quicker response rate. So be sure to check those DM's and answer all of your social messages.
