Sometimes I get the right image within the first few takes. And then sometimes I'm not happy with any of them. It may be the lighting, angle, focus, or just my mind playing tricks on me, but if it's not perfect then I'm not happy with it. So what do I do when I have a few pieces of "eh" content at the end of a shoot?
There are a lot of awesome apps, programs and softwares to take advantage of to help enhance the photos and videos you take. I'll be happy to share with you a few of my "go to" programs when I need a little help beyond the camera lens.
1. Adobe Photoshop: Okay obviously this is my go to! There are so many tools within this program it is really amazing! I mainly use this when certain areas of my image are discolored, or I need to clear out a cluttered background. This program also works great to keep the photo's high resolution during the editing process. I could go on and on about this program, but check it out for yourself!
2. Canva: Excellent for social media templates. I use this app A LOT. Mainly for creating content for the story function that will look more clean, organized and professional. I also use this when creating an event flyer for a client. It's really simple to use and they have a ton of templates, images, fonts and features to use.
3. iMovie & Adobe Premiere Pro are the best for video editing. I have used both of these for various promotional videos and they both came out great. I will say Premiere Pro has more features to use and more export options, but I can complete a project quicker in iMovie.
